How to avoid a tearful scene at airport security.

ree

On a recent trip, I couldn’t help but notice the people that were going in front of me at security. I have to say that this is my most dreaded part of traveling.

It doesn’t seem to matter how many times that I fly; inevitably there will be someone in line that forgets to throw out their bottle of water.

However, on this particular trip, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for the lady in front of me that had to part ways with not only her expensive skin care products but also her mascara which was now dripping down her face (carried by her tears). She pleaded with the TSA Security Officer to let her keep her various large bottles of skin care but she was not successful. I have to admit that even I grimaced as I witnessed these expensive items being confiscated and only to be thrown in the trash.

Another painful reminder that all gels and liquids must be no larger than 100 ml and need to be carried in a 1 L plastic bag.
